WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

2 Corinthians 5:6-10 NLT
So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing.  Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.  So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him.  For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

This last year has been a growing year. If it were not for my faith in my Heavenly Father I would be in a dark place and struggling. Because of my faith I have hope. When you look at this last year in the flesh it is depressing but when you look at it through the eyes of your Heavenly Father you begin to see all the blessing and gifts and how he is growing, strengthening, teaching you to be a light for Him to so many.

So many have checked in with me to see how am I doing what is next am I still pursuing this ministry. I want to start with a Thank you for your prayers I so appreciate them. I also am gratefully to all who have taken time and reached out to me you each are a blessing. So what next: Well physically there are still a few more dr. appointments and visits. Each dr. hopes the other will diagnose but no one wants to do it as they hope the other will… so we are still in waiting and trusting God through all that His will be done and He be glorified. As we close out 2023 and start 2024 we have a few changes. I will be starting seminary through Shepherds Theological Seminary to pursue a Masters of Arts Christian Ministry. I believe this time of study will greatly aid me in my future goal of starting this ministry and am trusting God with open hands as I move forward to pursue this avenue. As I am ending my time at the nursing home and moving into a new position at Chic-Fil-A. Please be in prayer as I make these transitions, for finances for schooling, and for the residence at the nursing home.

I would also like to encourage you in this new year to read this book it is an encouragement to me as I seek to start this ministry. May you also find it a challenge as we live our day to day lives and pursue our faith in Christ may we not forget who Christ came for, that we are all lost and we are all dearly loved children of God all in different circumstances and places life or knowing and walking with our Heavenly Father.
